Who are you seeing when you look in a mirror? Is that really you? Or, are you just wearing a costume? Who is that looking out of your eyes?

January Out and About Submission from Billy
"There was a mirror inside of a model of an Adobe house at the Children's Museum. I got to be a child with my camera and granddaughter Aubrey! Oh to be young again! There is no substitute for youth!" -- Billy
Billy resubmitted his photo after working with it in a creativity program. I like it! I think it again reflects your youthfulness -- a willingness to experiment and try out different things!
The Japanese word for constant improvement is "kaisen". Life is not perfect,so we can try to improve some things. Being able to be satisfied is also a virtue!! True fiends are forever! True love is forever! The love of a child is unconditional!!!
Hello! Hope you can join me in this self-exploration challenge. Anybody can join! All you need is a camera and a mirror, or mirror-like surface in which you can see yourself. A simple camera will do -- point and shoot, Kodak Instamatic, etc., and the ability to scan and digitally upload your photos.
You will receive a prompt here from me at the beginning of each month; the theme will be Who Am I This Month? You can post one Monthly Challenge Photo and comment about it. Be sure you mention what this photo possibly says about you. What does it reflect to you about yourself? Your feelings? Your likes or dislikes? Who you think you are. Use it as a tool to go deeper and wider in your view of yourself.
In addition, you can post three other photos during the month at any time: A Wild CardPhoto (crazy creative or just here's somethin' I took of myself), an Out and About Photo (a Mirror, Mirror taken on the road or on your daily movings about), and Others, Mirror, Self (this can be of a person or object reflected in a surface -- you don't have to be in the photo, you just need to have taken it).Again, your post comments should include what the photo seems to say about yourself.
There are only a few Mirror, Mirror Challenge rules: 1. You need to join as a follower to this blog. 2. The photo must be a reflection of you (or a part of you) in a mirror, or mirror-like surface (except for the Others, Mirrors, Self category. 3. You must be the person taking a photo of yourself. 4. There shall be no nudity, or anything that might cause me to avert my eyes. Got it? 5. I will be posting the Monthly Challenge Prompt here on this blog around the first week of each month. If you have a submission, please email me and let me know where to find* your photo if you don't send it to me. (*I suggest Flicker, Photobucket, or your blog or website if you have them.) Or, just send the photo to me along with your comment and I will post it to the blog. 6. You may post your Wild Card,Out and About, and Others, Mirror, Self photos at any time during the month. And occasionally I will post another category that you have the option of using.
I look forward to seeing your photos!-- Virginia

Welcome! My Mane Blowing in the Wind is a record of my discovery that I was creative and an artist. It is also now a visual showcase of my art, altered books and journals, and my Wild Spirit jewelery. So if you've heard the Muse calling, but didn't believe her, come visit for a bit. We might be able to change your mind!
There is no substitute but a youthful mind like yours, is a sure second!
